New bridge: glazed walls with integrated photovoltaic structures, structural glass analysis. The bridge that replaced the Morandi Bridge, designed by Renzo Piano — Vetroprogetti handled the calculation and design of the glazed components and safety barriers.
New glass pyramid: structural glass analysis and support system, construction drawings. Its standout feature is the load-bearing lattice itself, made of structural laminated glass — stainless steel appears only at the connecting nodes — clad externally with point-fixed rhomboid panels, now the monumental entrance to a historic complex.
New offices and full renovation: survey, demolition, steel structure, curtain wall, project management. A reference for an internationally recognisable fashion brand.
New shopping centre in Baku: survey, full structural design, calculations, supply chain and installation support. The glass and marble facades use a point-fixed (spider glass) system, for a glazed surface with almost no visual interruption.
Suspended circular staircase, entirely in glass and stainless steel: the steps are anchored to a central spine that follows the curve, and hung from above by tie-rods at regular intervals. For the offices of a major Italian strategic company operating in North America, in Washington DC, 2006. Contract won and delivered by Faraone, design by Vetroprogetti.
