Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user's device, where they are stored and later sent back to the same sites on a subsequent visit. They are used to make the site work correctly, to remember preferences you've expressed (such as your consent to cookies itself) and, if authorised, to collect statistical information on site usage.
2. Cookies used on this site
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
vp_cookie_consent |
Technical (first-party, in localStorage) | Persistent, until manually cleared | Stores the choice made in the cookie banner, so it isn't requested again on every visit. |
_ga |
Statistics (third-party — Google Analytics) | 2 years | Distinguishes unique users, for calculating visits and sessions in aggregate form. |
_ga_<container-id> |
Statistics (third-party — Google Analytics) | 2 years | Maintains the current session state for statistical monitoring. |
_gid |
Statistics (third-party — Google Analytics) | 24 hours | Distinguishes users within a single day. |
Google Analytics statistics cookies collect data in aggregated form (pages visited, traffic source, approximate visit duration) and are never used to directly identify the user.
3. Activated only with consent
Google Analytics statistics cookies are never loaded automatically. On first visiting the site, a banner is shown that lets you:
- Accept all cookies, including the statistics one;
- Decline statistics cookies, keeping active only the technical one required for the banner itself to work;
- Customise your choice, individually turning the statistics cookie on or off.
The Google Analytics script is loaded in the browser only after an explicit choice to consent to statistics cookies, never before.
4. How to withdraw consent
You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page on the site, or by deleting browsing data (cookies and site data) from your browser settings.
5. Third-party cookies — Google
The statistics cookie is managed by Google LLC as part of the Google Analytics service. For more information on how Google processes data, see its official privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites that use it, the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is also available.
For information about the data controller and your rights, see the Privacy Policy.
